BUT that is not to say i have done no work!
on the contrey my dear watson!
its because i have done too MUCH work.
well.. too much work can never be done. BUT YER. updates:
things are going a little 3D. which is always good. i feel i need to escape the paper.
and so after an inspiring visit to Anthony McCall's exhibition in the Serpentine Galley i feel that LIGHT needs to be used.
Light is such an amazing material to work with. why dont more people use it. i think the asthetics that can be obtained with light are endless.
so
shadows
shadows are sexy things. its like the object. but in some kind of dark alternative form. shadows cut everthing out apart from the shape itself. ARE SHADOWS MINIMALISM? hmm. interesting.
but yer. Antony McCall. these beems of light where such a juxtaposition in themselfs. looking so solid. yet you could walk through them. the sharp edges of some of the projections looked like walls of plastic. walking up and through them you where suspended into some sort of reality.
My friends suggested she was drowning. YER strange but i can really REALLY agree with her. the moving smoke looked like a calm water surface. and by placing you head just above the beams gave this really strange feeling of being underwater.
it was effecting in the same sort of style that Antony Gormelys Blind Light was.
LOVELY STUFF.
so yer. all inspiring day.
i bought some prussian blue paint that i want to use to. its the sex of a colour.

aghHhhh says they.
